How do I choose the right counsellor?
This is very much a personal preference. I always suggest to any new clients that we have an initial consultation chat on the phone before they commit to any sessions with me (free of charge). This is to ensure I as a counsellor believe I can meet the needs of the client in a professional sense, but also so the client can get an understanding of how I work as a counsellor. At every stage the client should always feel in control of their counselling journey.
My practice is based just outside Stamford, in the village of Ryhall. Easily reached from Bourne, Market Deeping, Oakham, Peterborough and the surrounding areas. I offer discreet off road parking and a high degree of privacy when attending sessions.
Timings and Fees
It is generally recommended clients have a minimum of 8 sessions to get the most out of the counselling process.
A session (50 minutes) cost £55*.
Couples = £75/ session
* (Evening appointments after 5pm are charged at £65/ individual session, £85/ couple)
Payment is required 24 hours before the session via BACS.
Cancellations
Whilst I understand that life can sometimes get in the way, I do ask for at least 48 hours notice to cancel. Failing that, I will require a cancellation fee.
